Catching Up

It's been so long since I have blogged. So many things have been going on at BBella...all good :} Guess I should just start with a list...that's what my mom always did. She had this awesome clipboard that she would put her list on before she went into Palmer, so she didn't forget anything. Well, here I am, the woman who once scoffed at lists, clipboards and such...with a LIST :}

1. Janet has gone to Israel for two months. She is happy, we are sad but know that she is following her heart.She will be volunteering at Bridges for Peace in Jerusaleum again. She should be home by January 5. I will try not to count the days.
2. Hayley Moore, raised in Palmer, is starting as a stylist on Saturday, November 6. She will be working on Saturdays, Sundays and Thursdays. We are excited to have her energy and new talent at the salon.
3.  BBella is growing and it's exciting. In an effort to meet the needs of the wide variety of new clients who are coming into the salon, we are offering a tiered pricing system. Bronze level includes stylists that have completed in salon training, have a current hairdressing license and have been at the salon for less than a year. Silver level stylists have completed advanced training and have been at BBella for over a year. You, as the client, can choose which level you want to visit us at. Rest assured that all the stylists at BBella provide good quality hair styles and excellent customer service.
4. Starting Saturday, November 6, Fred Pollard, licensed massage therapist, will be at the salon offering half hour treatments. For twenty minutes, he will work on neck and shoulders and then the last ten minutes will include a shampoo scalp massage. Afterwards, the client is welcome to use the new styling bar to dry and style his/her hair, or set up an appointment to get a haircut or style. Fred's service will be priced at $40. A real stress reliever this holiday season. He will be at the salon on Saturdays for November and December. Treat yourself and you won't be sorry.
5. THE NEW STYLING BAR....wow, I am so glad I made a list...I might have forgotten this. Danny made this cool styling bar for the salon. Complete with two birch trees, even if you don't ever use it, come look at it...I have stocked it with flat irons and curling irons to try and to buy...at least come and see!
6. Sherri  Lilly is working five days a week while Janet is gone. It's awesome to have her sweet smiling face behind the desk five days a week. THANK YOU SHERRI!
7. FIRST FRIDAY! We have new art up..Debra Austin is our artist for this month and she has some colorful, wonderful works of art. Reception Friday night, 6:30pm-7:30pm, November 5. My boyfriend, Greg, is making a few trays of snacks. Those snacks with some wine...it should be a good time...I would love to see you! Some First Friday, I am going to ask Greg to donate some of his special home brewed beer. That's in the future!
8. CHRISTMAS BASKETS.....Sherri Lilly is putting together Christmas baskets to go for those of us in a hurry and want an affordable, personal option that's not only a gift certificate. At several levels for all the ladies....they will be available by Nov 15th.
9. Almost forgot to add how much my granddaughter Kadience has grown and how cute she is, so I had to include a picture!
